Can I transfer credits from a Brazilian University to the US?

Website I can use to check if my credits will transfer to another university (florida)?

• A friend mentioned that there may be a website I can use to see which classes I can take at my school I can use to transfer towards the gen ed program at anther school. For instance, I attend UCF as a nursing student but would like to go to ...maybe UF. I need to know exactly what classes I have here that would transfer over to them as Humanities credits for the gen ed program.

  Only the school you wish to transfer to can answer that. They will most likely want a course description, although transferring from a school in Florida, they may already know what the courses consist of. I would guess that most freshman gen ed courses would transfer, as long as the new school has those same courses and they fit the new school's distribution requirements. I would wonder whether you actually can transfer into a nursing program. Those are usually separate from general admissions and may have different rules for transferring. Best bet is to call the admissions office and ask.
