What are sushi restaurant/cafe in Wales?

Do Sushi restaurants usually have some other food besides sushi?

  • I'm going to visit my friend and go to her high school's prom with her and some other friends. The group is going to a Sushi restaurant...I don't eat Sushi, or any type of fish really (although I can eat cooked fish if I absolutely have to, it's just not my cup of tea). But do sushi restaurants usually have at least some other foods besides sushi? I know the Sushi restaurant in my town has some other things like noodles and some traditional Asian food...are most sushi restaurants typically like this or do some of them only have sushi? I just don't want to get into a bad situation where there's nothing I can eat there...

  • Answer:

They usually have other Japanese food. But don't go expecting a hamburger, macaroni and cheese or other toddler-friendly foods. Unless it is a very high-end sushi bar. Have you thought about looking to see if they have a website where you could see the menu?

Well what's the point of going to a sushi restaurant if you're not going to eat sushi?

As Jonah said, get the name of the place you're going to and see if they have a menu available. If not, try to get their phone number and ask them if they have other menu items besides sushi. They should offer some other traditional Japanese foods and possibly some Chinese foods.
