How much do restaurant owner/top chefs make?

of i were to be a restaurant owner and the head chef of that restaurant (which i intend on doing) how much would i make per year? (approximately) thanks!

A few thousand dollars a year. Don't be the owner, work for someone who will actually pay you. Being the head chef around here will get you $60K-$100+ a year. Once you stockpile that money you can attempt to open your own restaurant and hopefully not lose it all. Not that I'm bitter or anything. </former restaurant owner and head cook>
