Is there Chicken Tikka in SUBWAY sandwiches in the USA?

Why does Subway use images of sandwiches that look nothing like their sandwiches?

  • Why is Subway allowed to use images that are blatantly false in their advertisements on television and on billboards and posters? Their sandwiches do not look at all like the pictures. why is this allowed? Do you see anything wrong with allowing false advertising? And where is your favorite place to get a sandwich or what kind of sandwiches do you like to eat or make yourself?

  • Answer:

i don't eat sandwiches, despite what jared says, bread is nutritionally barren and empty calories. i but boars head deli meats and eat with cheese if i need a quick meal, they have no sugar or fillers.

Have you ever eaten somewhere where the food actually looked as good or better than it did on TV.

Because Subway is evil and Quizno's & D'Angelos are good. Subway uses frozen meatballs with food coloring and they microwave their steak sub. Ooooooooooh fresh bread, whoopdeedoo.

They make the sandwiches look perfect in the commercial so people can want them more. Imagine if they had a crappy sandwich on TV, no one is going to want it. So, they make the best looking sandwich they can for the commercial so you can come down to the store and have someone make a crappy looking one. Its not exactly false advertising either. They dont tell you that the sandwich in the commercial is going to look like the one thats made for you at the restaurant. Thats probably why its allowed. I know, its odd, everyone (McDonalds, BK, etc.) does it. -_-

Sadly, Subway is not alone in pepetrating this hoax. Many restaurants are quilty of this tactic. Have you ever seen how these pictures and commercials are made featuring the food? The advertisers use glue, paint, and other man-made materials to represent the food in that hot steaming sandwich you see pictured. Rarely is the actual food featured. It's called artistic licensing, but I agree, it's wrong. Regarding favorite places, I would have to say Arby's, although they are expensive and high in fat. All their Beef sandwiches are good, but I don't eat there often due to the high fat and calories. I prefer to make a Turkey Pastrami and Roast Beef sandwich with Honey Mustard and Swiss Cheese on wheat bread.

They make the food look so good on t.v so you will go and try it...and it works everytime. My favorite place to get a sandwhich would have to be Giovannis Pizza. There hot ham and cheese is great. Mmmmmm. If I were making it myself I would say a fried bologna, egg, cheese, and mayo on toast. It's great. You should try it yourself.

well, the person who made that sandwich on the advertisement is not the one making yours....anyways, like any business, they have to make their products look appealing and "perfect" for the consumers....if the pictures were the same as the one you get at that establishment, probably wouldn't selll that much....just makeup for the food industry....still like subway's....
