How Do i Get Subway Points And How Does it Work?

I just registered my card & i want to know how do i get subway points? do i have to buy the food from my subway card or can i pay cash and just have them put it on my subway card? i am realllllly confuseeed, someone please help?!

I have a subway card and it works very well and saves a lot of money---- All you do is go to the nearest subway near you and ask them for a card- mine i got from in midlandpark, nj and it is plastic like a credit card and what they do is they swipe it for you every purchase and u build up points till eventually u have enough to buy something with. U can pay cash and have them put the points for your meal on the card, or if u have enough points to get a sandwich or chips or a drink or anything, u can use the points to buy it with.
