Why dosen't mcdonalds sell hotdogs?

I never have ever seen a Hot dog on a McDonald's menu. I hate hot dogs, but why don't they sell them?

They probably dont sell them because they arent known for that. have you ever read the small words under the big m? it says mcdonalds burgers and fries... that is why they created macdonalds.. to sell hamburgers and fries! :)

That's a good question in my opinion. Sure it's a "burger" place but they sell chicken nuggets so it's obvious they sell other things. Maybe it wouldn't be a good source of income. Maybe they can't storage it when it's cooked.

I really don't know. They sell burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, and even a pork sandwich on occasion (McRib), so a hot dog seems kinda like a no brainer, like it should just go with the territory.

thats a really good point & i think about that all the time i mean theyd make more money for sure and its definatly not because their not known for that because they sell alot of other stuff that doesnt have anything to do with burgers and fries
