What would your ideal fast-food restaurant serve?

In a nice restaurant, how many people will they serve during a dinner service?

  • If a restaurant has seating for about 130 people, how many people would they serve on a typical Friday or Saturday for dinner service? When I say nice restaurant, I'm saying that the average cover per guest would be about $38-40.

  • Answer:

well, generally, the fancier the restaurant, the longer people stay. This especially holds true on weekends as people like to enjoy a long meal and drinks to unwind. I would say most tables would turnover twice, so about 260 maybe.

It will depend on their set up. I have been to some when the dinner would be all night for a group that books the place and have been to them with workmates and partners for about 150 On other nights they may get 3 servings in for 450. Others may get 6 servings in for 900. KFC and Maccas could have far more than the 900

Depends mostly on the speed of service, how fast those folks move out, new folks are seated, etc. Not something the average person can quantify. A manager of a restaurant may be able to give general numbers at best.

We do about 100-150, but that is slow. The economy has really hit us hard (South of Chicago, USA)
