What happens at a restaurant orientation? (Red Lobster?

How much on average does a lobster cost at a restaurant like Red Lobster or Summer Shack?

  • I never had lobster at a restaurant before so I just want to have an idea how much will I be paying for dinner.

  • Answer:

you must first understand that unless you live near a coast, you wont find a fresh lobster.and although they are delicious-they are extremely overpriced.and require a surgeons precision to extract all the meat.there is at least 65% wasted weight in lobster.you pay x dollars(16-18) per pound and then throw away $12 dollars.so lobster really costs $40 per pound.based on what you get to actually EAT.if you go to a place that only offers tails-they were frozen-and theres a BIG difference in taste.get crab legs-KING not SNOW.they are good, easy to eat, kind of affordable and more readily available everywhere.

one million dollars. if you're looking to take a girl out, unless she's fat, don't take her to these resteraunts. you'll spend more time cracking and eating your lobster than talking. plus, girls aren't attractive when they eat finger food.

They call it "market price", which means depending on today's cost, the price to you can vary. I would say you can plan on around $25 - $32. Actually just the tail is a better value, less waste, but also expensive. You can call ahead for seating and ask what they are priced at today.
