Hostess Interview At a Restaurant?

Host//hostess for restaurants!!?

• So,tomorrow im going to apply at a restaurant,and im pretty sure it might be an open interview.Im pretty nervous because i just found out today it might be open.Im going to go on the restaurant's website to study their food,that way i sound like i know what im talking about during the interview.I have never worked in any kind of food service or anything like that,but im going to apply for the hostess position,i would of applied for the server position but they are only hiring for part time,and i need full time.Anyways,my question is what exactly is it like to be a hostess,what is the training like?I'm thinking its probably easy to just sit people down at tables,but im guessing there's more to it.So any help,and any good details you could give me,also advice. Anything would be helpful. Thanks.

  Well i know at my brothers work the hostesses sit the people yeah but they also help bus tables if the place is really busy, get drink orders sometimes, check the people out and wrap silverware if needed good luck breath, sound confident and you'll do fine
