-
Im going out to dinner tomorrow nite with a friend...we will probably just go to a pub or restaurant for dinner...im on a diet tho so i cant eat anything too big or too fatty...any suggestions on what to order?? (please just use your imagination on what they may have on the menu because im not quite sure...) Or in other words...if you were going out to dinner and was on a diet or trying to eat healthy then what would you most likely order?? Thanks...

Answer:
Soup and salad, grilled chicken with vegetables and rice, fish, lean cuts of meat, skip the dessert, unless it's is fresh berries or something like that. Drink lots of water. If consuming alcohol only have a glass of white wine. Focus more on the companion rather than the food and don't obsess. If you over-indulge don't worry about it too much, just work out or walk/run the next day. Have a great time!

I recommend that you give Chili's a try. They have a whole section of their menu called the "Guiltless Grill". I too am a dieter and I really enjoy their chicken and rice dinner and the chicken sandwhich. The good thing about Chili's is that they list the calories, fats, and carbs on the menu, so that you can be truly aware of what you're eating. Also, Chili's has a decent bar and a younger feel to it than many other restaurants. You can actually find the Guiltless Grill menu on Chili's website. If you decide to have a drink, you should try and stick with something like vodka and diet soda or whiskey and diet soda. The link for Chili's website is listed below.

How bout something with steamed broccoli and other mixed vege? Steamed fish is good too, if the cook is experienced, the fish won't taste bland. Good luck!

Do not get anything fried. Seafood would be good (shrimp, salmon etc.) or a salad (grilled chicked to add protien) would be the best choices. Some restaurants have a healthy or low carb type menue (weight watchers) or something like that.

Go somewhere that has a nice fresh salad bar, and make your own decision. Then when you blow it, you can blame youself. Or stay home and cook for you and your friend.

The biggest way to sabatoge your diet is with a won't attitude.( I won't eat this or that) Permit yourself to have what you want, if you like grilled eat that, but if you like burgers permit yourself to have one.
