Anyone who likes to eat balut eggs?

  • For those who don't know it. Balut is a soft-boiled egg containing partially developed duck embryos. It's an unusual Filipino delicacy and it is sold on night streets.

    I'm a filipino & I like to eat balut eggs but I choose the "balut pinoy" variety wherein the duck embryo hasn't formed yet or is still a mass of yellow yolk. I get squeemish if the balut egg has a well formed embryo already. But I like the taste of balut especially the clear watery fluid when mixed with a little salt. I think you know what I mean....

I'm sorry but crunchy egg salad just isn't my favorite. I guess some balut are more developed than others.

I never knew it was sold on night streets, not sold in day streets? Yep I like balut with salt of course. I like the sa bow ( I don't how to spell it, the juice on top)
