Applying as a hostess at Carrabbas?
-
Anything I should specifically say during the interview? I have hostessed at 3 different restaurants, being the lead hostess at one. Tips? Thanks in advance!

Answer:
I'm a restaurant manager and have worked in restaurants for years. When interviewing potential hostesses the #1 thing I look for is their personality and friendliness. I can usually tell within 30 seconds of meeting someone whether they would be a good fit or not. You need to make sure you SMILE and converse and be outgoing. If possible, highlight your communication skills. Communication is obviously the #1 tool for a hostess, as they need to communicate with guests over the phone, in person, and communicate with the servers and staff as well.
