How much does a server get paid hourly at the cheesecake factory?

Answer:
Most servers get paid minimum wage. The federal minimum wage is $7.25, but it also depends on which state he/she works in. In some states, like Georgia, tipped employees' minimum wage is $2.13. Servers have to report their tips and on their paychecks, hourly and tips are taxed so there's a huge chunk gone. Servers rarely get paid more than minimum wage. When I was a server (not at cheesecake factory) the only time I got paid more was when I trained a new server. That's why servers rely so much on tips, we don't make much hourly and taxes usually takes out a huge piece out. So if you ever have a great sever, tip accordingly! They work hard for their money!
