Anyone know about good eats in St louis?

  • I'd like to know the top 10 places in your opinion, for asian food. I don't want a chain restaraunt, I want something that's based in St louis and st louis only, if at all possible. I want some good Chicken, spicy general tso, or something else pretty tasty(and spicy)! I've already tried Urbanspoon, so don't go getting your information off there. Thanks a lot!

    My favorite Chinese restaurant in St. Louis is Lemay Wok, on Lemay Ferry Road just south of I-270. They're usually crowded but worth the wait. The guys who run it are really sweet, and serve great food in good portions. We also go to Sesame on Watson Road just East of Lindbergh. The Seventh Inn on Manchester West of I-270 was really good, but I haven't been there in years. There are also several Asian restaurants on Grand Ave between Arsenal and Gravois.
