Which would be better Portland,or Seattle or cali?

Best Seattle restaurant recommendation?

• I’m picking up the family from the airport this Friday. My dad lives in Cali and my sister in Florida. They don’t particularly like Seattle. I always hear commments like "why do you live here?" So…. I’m looking for an excellent restaurant that fits the following criteria: *cool atmosphere (very Seattle) *not too pricey (maybe $20+) *downtown *non chain (No Daniels, Palomino, etc… *Something for everyone (Dad likes meat) Co-workers suggest Cafe Presse, Sazarack, Brasa Thank you!!

  Ivar's Salmon House has a very unique and northwest atmosphere, definitely way different than Cafe Press, Brasa, etc, but the seafood is excellent and the setting on Lake Union is awesome, especially when the weather is nice. And, you can't argue with having seafood in Seattle!
