Looking for some good, authentic Vietnamese food in San Francisco with moderate prices.?

We are more interested in value and quality of food than ambience. Located within a walk, bus, or trolley ride of Union Square area. Thanks.

San Jose is a good place to Go. Milpitas...and somewhere around Chinatown would have REAL Vietnamese food.

Many of the Viet restaurants in San Francisco are not authentic, they are Asian Fusion trendy places like the Slanted Door. I live in Oakland and can recommend Binh Minh Quan as real authentic and if you want real authentic pho I'd say Pho Hoa Lao II also in Oakland. Email if you want address. If you just want Banh Mi, I think Saigon Sandwhich in SF is pretty good.
