    Old Town Mexican Cafe is the best I have had...they make homemade tortillas in the front window...sometimes you can get them to go, if they are not too busy. Try El Indio!! Best mexican food in sandiego! Also try Por Favor in La Mesa....really good food there or Tio Leo's. Rockin Baja is another good place! Its in Old Town!

How about El Vitral directly next to Petco Park. It's modern and beautiful with a large terrace facing the park. The food is up-scale Mexican.
