Best Cheese Steaks in the Philly and Main Line area?

  • I’ve lived in Philly for two years. Before I came to Philly I had the most amazing Cheese Steak in California. The Cheese Steaks had great bread. SO far I found some OK places, but nothing with great bread. Anyone have any suggests in Philly or in the King of Prussia Area. (Please no PAT’S or Genno’s,).

    Chink's in the northeast.... anything with an amorosa roll is great, they are the best rolls. if you liked your cheese steak in cali you probably won't like it in philly because they are usually different. do you prefer the chipped steak or the sliced? cheez whiz or sliced provolone??

On the main line, I like Bella Italia in Ardmore. Not sure about KOP. Out near Trevose you should check the Oakford Inn. It is on the backside of the mall and is more about the sizzle than the steak.

i have heard that rick's philly cheese steaks around market street i am going there but my friends said it was great also i heard that it is local to the history of philadelphia so it is great for visitors!!!!!
