Good bars/ hangouts in Philly for a 21st birthday party?

  • My 21st is coming up.. just wondering if anyone had any good bars or other birthday party type idea's for places in Philadelphia for a 21st birthday for a girl :)

    Hey meggie, First of all I really hope you have a great birthday. The two best places to go are Finnigans Wake N.3rd and Spring garden or The fieldhouse Directly across the street from the reading terminal. I honest to god wouldnt suggest any clubs out of the historic district. Most of the clubs southern of the historic district are filled with nothing but ghetto scum looking to rub up on you. Finnigans is ALWAYS hopping and so is the field house. Im not sure if birthday people get in free..I think they do. I think that goes for all the clubs. But If you go anywhere..I would HIGHLY consider finnigans or the fieldhouse. Both places are a hop skip and jump from the downtown nightlife. Actually, The fieldhouse is RIGHT in the middle of center city. Finnigans is like..3-5 minutes out of center city. Hope this helps and most of all..Happy Birthday! mike
