What's your favorite restaurant in Philadelphia?

  • I'm looking for places that have good food, but are also not very expensive. I've been to Philadelphia before, I just didn't get the chance to look around the city.

    Beau Monde, 4th & Bainbridge. Creperie. Reasonably priced, amazing food. I've been going there several times a month for years, and never had a bad meal. Fantastic service, too. Divan. 22nd & Carpenter. Turkish. The Shepherd's Salad is a must. I don't eat much meat, but their kebabs melt in the mouth. Sahara Grille, 13th & Walnut. Middle Eastern. Good for lunch but they also do BYO dinner. Massive amounts of incredibly tasty food for very little. The baba ganouj is an absolute must.

I've heard Geno's and Pat's are the place to go. If I went to Philadelphia, I'd go to one place and eat a philly cheese steak, then I'd go to the next and eat theirs. I'd be able to say which I like best.
