What are some of the best places in Philadelphia to get cheese steak, and tomato pie?

    The best tomato pie that I've had (and it's been awhile!) was from the Conshohocken Bakery: 79-83 Jones Street Conshohocken, PA 19428 610-825-9334 I also like the cheesesteaks from Delessandro's in Roxborough. Other signature foods: Tastykake and soft pretzels with mustard

as plushy says, D'Allesandro's for cheesesteaks BUT Tony's up in the Northeast at Frankford and Levick for tomato pies.

For cheese steaks, you have to try either Pat's or Geno's (they are right across the street from each other in South Philly)... they are a Philly tradition! Sorry I don't have any recommendations for tomato pie.

Tomato pie the best is Charlie's Pizza on the Blvdor Vince's Pizza on Grant ave, betwwen Bustleton and the Blvd.

i vote tony lukes 4 cheesesteak.. their awesome.. iv never really had an exceptional pizza place in philly that iv found. pretty much stick with cheese steaks..
