Where do you like to go in Philadelphia?

I love philly cheese steak. I'm going 5 hours out of my way for one (or 2) in Philadelphia. Where should I go?

  • Call me crazy, but I have always wanted a cheese steak in philly, and I am going to be driving through Pittsburgh, and thought I'd detour through philly for a few hours. If I wanted to go to 1 or maybe 2 places in Philadelphia for the best cheese steak, where should I go? Thanks!

    I live in South Philly and cheese steaks are my favorite food! Go to either Tony Luke's on Front and Oregon or John's Roast Pork (aka the shack) on Snyder Avenue between Front St. and Delaware Ave. Those two are WAY better than Pat's and Geno's,

Geno's and Pat's are good. Try Village Pizza or The Steak Factory in northeast philadelphia.They have very good cheesesteaks.
