    There is no such place. Any place that serves food and borders the parade route will be blocked by people watching the parade from the street. There might be a hotel that has a restaurant bordering the route but there is no way they will let you sit for a long time. Also, I would venture to guess the restaurant would be closed to those staying at the hotel because this event is huge in NY. To see the parade and eat, you will need to book a hotel room that overlooks the parade route, and order room service. Both are costly and booking the room now might even be too late for Thanksgiving 2009.

Unless the restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a building or plans to have televisions on inside, I don't think you'll find a place. There's a lot of people who come out to stand on the sidewalks to watch the parade--if you were hoping to look out the window from the ground floor and be able to see anything, that will not be possible.
