What is a fun restaurant or attractions in new york city for a sweet 16?

Many people have gone to lips, a drag queen show and restaurant. i need help finding a fun restaurant and maybe a few places to stop at in the city.. any ideas?

  There are a lot of fun things to do in NYC for a sweet sixteen. I should know, I am 18. I've spent a great deal of time finding out what to do for a fun night without having an ID. First thing: Hookah. If you haven't tried this/don't know what it is, it's really fun. Look it up online so you have a good idea of how it works, but it's basically a Middle-Eastern smoking device, and they put tobacco flavored like fruit or other fun flavors in it. There are a lot of good hookah places in the lower east side, but I especially like Hade-n-Bade on 1st st, and 1st ave. Kinda easy to remember. The owner is super nice and will give you a great spot if there are quite a few of you. You can also try Cozy Cafe which is in the same area. There's always fun music and great beverages and the hookah is great. You'll see tons of girls and guys your age bopping around doing hookah, all dressed up for a sweet sixteen. It's totally common. Second thing: Try a fun restaurant like Serendipity's. It's a little cliche yes, but it's still a lot of fun to have 10 friends sharing their ginormous sundae that could feed a small third-world country. It's so magical, and always really loud, so you don't need to worry about having a big group. Only drawback is that getting a reservation is very hard, and the wait tends to be in the hours. Third thing: If you're not a New Yorker/want to see something sight-seeing cool, go on the Staten Island ferry, which runs all night long. Totally free and beautiful at night! Fourth thing: It seems like you're already aware of Lips and the drag queen sweet sixteen scene. Still, I will add my approval to the idea because it IS totally fun, and you will always remember it. Lucky Chengs is the other famous one, and tends to be a little more popular because it looks chic and has the feel of a club. However, Lips is cheaper, and I find them to be a little more friendly.
