Lunch w/in walking distance of NYC's American Girl Place?

I took my "kind of picky" 8 year old cousin to Alfredo's Italian restaurant on 48th between 5th and 6th and she loved it - it's a little pricey but the waitress was really nice and brought her a free dessert for her birthday. This is overall one of my favorite restaurants as an adult - excellent food if you dont like eating from "child friendly, classic american burger and fries menus". Alfredo's is basically across the street. If you want to go a little more ethnic, I would say go to Dervish which is delicious Turkish food on 47th between 6th and Broadway. For Chinese food there is China moon on 47th between 5 and Madison. Not sure how open your 7 year old is to different foods.

Ollie's - great Chinese Food and very inexpensive (for New York anyway.) Location on 44th Street, just west of Broadway.
