What's a good dinner place for Thanksgiving in NY?

Good place to get Thanksgiving dinner near NJ / NY?

  • My wife and I are both from Texas and we recently moved up here. Since it is just the 2 of us we decided to go out. Neither of us know the area well enough, so we are having a tough time finding a place to get a good traditional Thanksgiving meal. We don't mind spending a little money either. Any suggestions? I can't find a place for the life of me. All of the places I found are serving dinner's. We wanted a nice traditional type meal, I guess sort of like a buffet, but a nice buffet. Thanks for your help.

    Ther are tons of places in the city doing Thanksgiving buffets. Just google search Thanksgiving buffet in NYC. My family and I actually decided to do a luncheon cruise on the Spirit. It's a buffet, and it's reasonably priced! Plus a great boat cruise around the hudson. Good Luck.

hate to admit it but most people are at home and don't eat out so places that are good are hard to find my parents who decided they weren't going to cook on christmas stood in line a a waffle house which was packed by the way .. biggest day of the year for them //chinese always is very busy.. good luck..in the nicest way
