Candela on E. 16th St. near Union Square. Been there, it's considered one of the top romantic restaurants. Very private and beautifully decorated.

I LOVE "THe Place" on West 4th.

Hi, You can try Buddakan. It's on 75 9th Ave. Website: http://www.buddakannyc.com ~ $30 per head. The food quality was a bit of a miracle...dishes were so sophistically prepared. I'd recommend their "Sizzlnig Short Rib" and "Crab Fried Rice". Asian fusion cuisine with very nice ambiance. Subway! They are so cheap. You can get a sandwich for around 7 bucks. No really Tavern on the Green In Central Park
