Where's a good place for a picnic in central park?

  • I'm taking my boyfriend for a picnic in central park this weekend and i'm trying to find a perfect place in central park, we've spent a lot of time in the park by the Time Warner Center, I'd like to try a new part of the park...any ideas?

Sounds like a great idea! As others have said, any place in Central Park is nice, but a really special, hidden gem is Cherry Hill, just west of Bethesda Fountain. You should have your picnic near the guide and water fountain. It's in front of the lake and it's near a park and the skating rink/pool.
