• I'm going on a vacation this summer to new orleans, and I was wondering where the best places to eat are. I love all kinds of food, but seafood is my favorite. if you could give me some suggestions on where the best places to get it, that would be awesome. i'm also interested in the best places to get po'boys and beignets.   Two Great restaurants that are great local places are Dick and Jennys and Brigtsens. Both are not in the quarter You can take a cab Call United 504-522-9771! The best po boy sandwich is Domilise's a little family owned place outside of the quarter and is cash only.This is a best kept secret. You can also go to Johnnies in the Quarter and parasols, and parkway tavern. There is only one true place to get beignet and that is Cafe Du Monde. FOOD: *Jaquimos( Best Alligator Cheesecake and blackened red fish) GO EARLY! Be prepared to drink a lot while you wait, BUT SO WORTH IT! IT IS A MUST!!!!!!
