    My sister went to Cal State Long Beach! Great school! It's known as a commuter school if you know what that means, and its close to the beach, Long Beach Aquarium, The Queen Mary, and many cool clubs. I Think its a good choice if you want to go there.

As for prestige, it's not bad, not near the best. The people who go there probably didn't work their butts off in high school but were smart enough to get few C's (maybe a few more A's than B's). Of course, every school will have its fair share of very smart people. I think people who go there like it enough. It's in a nice area and everything.
