What's the best time to avoid buffet lines in Vegas?

  • So i'm going to Vegas, of course going to eat at some buffets. I know that some buffets tend not to have crazy lines...but they also tend to cost $50 per person..a little more than i'd want to spend for a buffet. Im thinking about checking out the Spice Market in Aladdin (where i'm staying) as I read it was pretty good, and decently priced. Although I also read the lines get extremely long. Any recommended times to go or not go? any other recommended buffet places in Vegas? $15-35 for a buffet sounds reasonable. ~G

best time to avoid the lines are.... okay ...so a buffet typically is open from like 10-10 but they change the menus the buffet i go to (i think it is the best if u want crablegs and affordable) Green Valley Ranch Resort in henderson (beautiful hotel great outdoor shopping and dinning) but thier dinner starts at 4pm so from like 4-5 the lines are fast then from 6-8your gonna wait atleast 40 min then from like 8- 8:30 they calm down again and they keep putting out fresh food till like 10:15 so even if u get in at 9:45 (no live at all) you will get good GREAT food and the price for adult is 18.99 and 16.99 with station rewards card (which they give for free at guest serices) just go up and say u need a rewards card.....and enjoy delicious stemed or cold crab legs , shrimp, mongolian cooking, taco bar , italian station american statrion chinese station and alot more.

I've never been to a buffet line in Vegas, ever. I've gone three times a year for seven years now. I always avoid them. Rather eat in the restaurants to avoid it. Often, the tired old waitresses are not happy and do not seem customer friendly but the food is always good.

ok, ive been to vegas twice, and never seen a buffet for 50 bucks, or even having to wait a long time in line. we usually went around 10-11 in the morning, that the best for brunch. the buffet in the stratsophere is awesome we went there like everyday and we didnt even stay in that hotel and very resonable. also downtown, i cant remember the name of the hotel but its across the street from the golden nugget downtown, it was less than 10 bucks and very good.

Buffets in Vegas aren't $50.00! You can eat at places like Circus Circus and Excalibur at breakfast for around $7.00. The lines aren't too bad during the week, but on weekends, expect to wait in line. Other places like Sahara and others charge slightly more for the weekends, but the food is excellent. The lines can be very long on a Saturday or Sunday morning, though. Again, weekdays are best. Dinners are another story. The good places like Sahara and Paris are always crowded. it's a great idea to go downtown and eat at someplace like Four Queens. They have Prime Rib and great steaks in their restaurant.
