How much would a waitress in Manhattan make?

Can i make $1000 in 2 weeks as a waitress in a strip club?

  • Im starting work as a WAITRESS (clothes ON) in strip club next week and i need to have somewhere close to $1000 within in the next two weeks for a personal reason. Is that possible to make there as a waitress? I would consider myself a very attractive person, as i have been told so too. I figure that will make a difference on how much i will make.

    Well you do have to understand that as attractive as you may be the guys are going to the club to see naked chick, not watch you set a drink on their table. If you work a 40 hour week you'll have to be averaging about $13 a hour to make the grand. You also have to figure in the fact that if you're on payroll that taxes will be taken out. And to make matters harder, if you're not on payroll and you're what they call a 'shot girl' you'll be paying the house for the drinks that you're selling. So technically you could end up not making much at all. You should also be very careful. The dancers are there to entertain and make money. They are the main attraction. You're there to serve drinks and make tips. If the dancers or other staff start feeling like you're taking up the customer's time you'll be out of the club so fast your head will spin.

Yes, I have worked in the restaurant businesss since I was 16. I've worked at a lot of places you dont need to work at a strip club if it makes you uncomfortable. Im not sure how they do it there but there usually is a "training" period or a few shifts before you actually start making money. (you make min wage during this time)

It is not realistic to make $1,000 in two weeks in a strip club unless you are willing to get ahem, extra friendly with some of them. z

If you get 1000 costomers that can tip you one dollar each or 500 that will tip you 2 dollars each .Just give some sad story about how your dog died and you got vet bills ,You should get it .
