What is the best place to spend birthday in Houston?

Where in Houston, TX, is there a great place to have a kid's birthday party that is not too expensive?

  • I am looking for a good spot in Northwest Houston or near Cy-Fair area to have a kid's birthday party (restaurant or other) that would cost less than $150.

  • Answer:

There are already some very good answers but I would add The Children's Museum. They have 3 or 4 party rooms and tons of activities. It's a bit more than you budgeted but worth it. http://www.cmhouston.org/birthdays/ I think Old McDonald's Farm is up your way. The little ones love that place and it's cheaper but bad weather might hamper the party. http://www.oldmacdonaldshumble.com/parties.html

How about the Houston Zoo? Its further than you want but would be a great place! Its $6 for kids & $10 for adults ( $5 & $8) if you get them at a Fiesta store. You can make a picnic and eat in the park.

My answer is your local bowling center. They normally have a snack bar for food and drink plus an arcade. It should be within your price range. Happy Birthday.
