Where is a good place for a party holiday?

Anyone know a nice place for a corporate Holiday party in the Detroit area?

  • Looking for a nice place to have our Holiday party for work. Office is in Southfield but anywhere in the Detroit area would be good. We would like to find a place that has sit down (family style) dinner with a reasonably priced bar. Looking for around 60 a head. Would prefer someplace that would also allow a DJ. If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance~

Check with local hotels like the Westin or Embassy Suites. They typically have a catering department that LOVES to do stuff like this and accommodates different budgets. Also check something called the Palace of Southfield. Looks weird, but on the inside it is beautiful.

sounds like you need to rent a formal banquet hall---arnaldos in riverview is nice and has good food and is alot cheaper than 60 bucks per person and they do serve family style.

The Renaissance center is definitely a fine(expensive) place. There are plently of family style restaraunts on Woodward Ave(the Woodward, Detroit breakfast bar & grill, Sweet Georgia Browns). It also depends on how much you want to spend. Greek town is also VERY nice. Pizza Papolis & Fish bone......But being that you said 60 people I would say renaissance center or the courtyard across the street which has a party area and a restaraunt.There are several more places but those are just a few....Hope you enjoy your holiday party! You can try the Gem theater downtown, it may be out of your price range but is is a very nice place! Also there is Union Street on Woodward Ave, I think they could seat everyone
