Is liquor an interchangeable name for alcohol?

Large warehouse type alcohol store in Dallas?

  • I've heard there is some HUGE liquor or alcohol store in the Dallas area that has a lot of obscure or hard to find beers and wines. Anyone know the name and location?

    Central Market has a good selection of wines and beer from all over the world. They have locations in Dallas (Central & Lovers) and Plano and Southlake I think.

There's only 3 that I frequent, and if you can't find them there, then you won't find them at all. 1.) Spirits: Deep Ellum, corner of Malcom X and Canton (this is the only one that looks like a warehouse) 2.) Centennial: Off I-35 & NW HWY 3.) Beverage Depot: on I-30, close to Munger and Samuel (they have the best prices and biggest selections)... Hope these help...

well its a bit further but in ft worth on eastchase & I-30 there's the magestic... its huge

Centennial is by far the best, in my opinion. Good prices, and big selection. Use their store locater to find the one closest to you. They will not be open on Sunday, however, due to Texas "blue laws."

Mr G's on Coit & 15th in Plano has a good selection, but I second Central Market for variety. If it is liquor you're after, there's only certain areas where it is sold. It is the governments way to ensure we have drunk drivers that run out of Vodka and then drive 30 miles into Dallas for a refill, rather than walking across the street to Kroger. That is the only thing I hate about the Dallas area. They limit peoples right to choose what to drink and where you buy it from.
