How can an individual get sponsorship for attending a conference?

Attending a conference at McCormick Place Chicago and needing close places to eat or get take out?

We are already planning to go to several museums and other places, but I am wondering what restaurants are nearby. We are staying at the Hotel Sax, so the food could be close to that as well. Any suggestions would be great!! Please stay away from places that are too exotic. I do not have a wide palate of tastes.

You're just a couple blocks from Michigan ave. There are many choices ranging from Fridays, Grand Lux, Weber Grill, and just about everything else. You're not far from Gibsons Steak House. It is my favorite steakhouse ever. Pricey but worth it. There is also a Hyde Park on Ontario.
