Where Are Some Fun Places In Or Near Austin Tx To Eat?

  • I'm visiting my thea ( aunt) in Austin, Tx with my 10 year old cousin and I want to surprise her with a fun place to eat! But I don't live in Austin, Tx so I don't know any fun places to eat. I can't spend more than $80 and I'm willing to drive in Austin or a city near Austin, Tx. Please don't hesitate please answer in the name of the fun place to eat and I will look it up. Please give me your best shot and no negative answers!

    You like pizza?.....Conans at anderson lane at burnet road, it's by far the best pizza in the world in my opinion, you like bar b que?....OMG,..let me see,.Park house bar b que at 14th and Lamar blvd, they've kept thier doors open since 1941 and they're really old and great,...or Pokey Joes on west 5th,...there are about 500 different bar b que joints in austin and they're all great.....there's alot of gtreat chinese places as well, I don't think I've ever eaten at one that wasn't good....Oh yeah, if you like kosher food, there's KATz's on 6th st. I highly suggest it.....Or if you like Italian food?..there's Metzaluna,...it's off 5th I think, look it up on the web.....In fcat, look up "austin Dining on the web, you'll see page after page......I think my favorite place has always been "THE SISTER"S" CHINESE" on Burnet road..up near 45th st....amazing orange chicken, sesame chicken and hot and sour soup and the egg rolls are to die for.....other than that....I could write all night but I live in Sutherlin,Oregon now and I'm just making myself sad now.....so I'll just say "Lucky you"....lucky Aunt Thea....y'all have fun. Magnolia Cafe is in South Congress - open 24/7, HUGE helpings, delicious food and can you say CHEAP! Kerbey Lane is on Guadalupe (The Drag) North of the UT campus - open 24/7, good portions, delicious, variety and can you say CHEAP! Chuy's Mexican Restaurant is off of Lamar, South of the UT campus on a street that I cannot recall. (Barton Springs, maybe) - Get the jalapeno ranch dip with your chips, you can serve yourself chips and salsa while you wait, great service, nice price range and the food is SOOOOOO GOOD! I recommend the #4 if you do go! The supreme tomatilo sauce is like sin! Hope this helped!

u want a really good pizza place? Home slice pizza on south congress. Then after that you can go window shopping and then at dark, ya'll can go see the bats fly out from underneath the bridge
