Ooooh Gosh. With you asking so many questions. I'm afraid I might see you on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares! lol You need a regular traditional functional kitchen. Walk-in fridge, pantry for canned/dry goods, stoves, deep fryers. You also need your own chicken wing recipe, and sauce. You'll need to sell more than chicken wings to keep your business afloat. Might want to consider adding more bar type foods to your menu. Such as chili fries,or Cajun fries, onion rings, nachos etc. Also selling alcohol is a good way to make some money. But you will need to apply for a liquor license. First I'd see if you can afford to rent/or buy a vacant building to either turn into a restaurant or use one that is already there. Start up costs for all of that. Food, staff etc. Can be up upwards of a few hundred thousand dollars. You'll need to start applying for a business loan. It's not cheap and this endeavor should not be taken lightly. Many people easily go into serious debt this way because they do not know what they are undertaking.

You have to compete with wing street among MANY others, Do your research on a more factitious site.

Good question... There is so many things you could possibly need and so many things that you might want but actually defining the bare essentials for opening a restaurant is hard to outline. Best advice i can give you is to go on this website and have a look round. they advertise as a "one-stop-shop" for catering equipment so seem to cover all the things you could be looking for in the future. I'm not saying buy from there, but the way they categorise everything should help you to get your head round it. One thing you might want to look at is catering equipment leasing... There are specialist leasing companies that offer you weekly payments on equipment or even will lease you a whole kitchen to help you get your business of the ground. This is something that i would definitely suggest. You don't want to open a big kitchen and find that you cant really afford the equipment you need and end up compromising on cheaper stuff that doesn't quite do the job! So many restaurants start of like that and can't produce the quality that you need to keep your customers. Anyway, check out http://buzzcateringsupplies.com

The resturant business is very competitive. You should go to work in one like you want to do (in a different city) and then by that you will learn the business and will know what you need. Chances are that there are some resturants near you that have gone out of business, leaving their equipment behind. Talk to the lessor about how cheap you can take over the space. Do not commit beyond one year's lease. Good luck!
