What is the cheapest cable?

What is the cheapest Internet/Cable Service out there ? How much do you pay ?

• I currently pay $107.09 for Cable and High-Speed Internet with Time Warner Cable. I have over 600 channels of which I watch only a handful. Am i getting ripped off ? Cause i feel i am... I called the Time Warner cust. service and they tell me switching to less channels may not necessarily mean cheaper !! How so ?

  Hi LazerGun, I just changed up to an AT&T package (bundle) deal for land line phone, cell phone, Dish Network, and DSL internet. I pay around $70 for the whole deal. That was a special, good for a year, but I figure I'll look for another deal in a year. What the heck! I got the standard Dish Network package (you can always 'pay per view' special stuff, and the DSL 'Express' (1.5Mbps) cable internet. Works just fine. A friend of mine has the ultra high speed cable internet and says he can't live without the absolute fastest service on the planet. Guess what? His computer is not fast enough to take advantage of his 10.0 lightning speed internet feed. If you are not going to play a lot of internet video games with a super fast computer, I think you would be happy with the 1.5Mbps speed. Cheap too. The way I judge fast is if the screen changes before I can get my finger off the mouse. That's fast enough for me. db
