Computer speakers not working for TV?
-
I have an HD tv of which I used to use computer speakers with. I have moved recently and now the TV doesn't seem to want to play sound though the speakers anymore. I simply plug normal desktop speakers (with their own power source) into the headphone jack like I did before but now the TV's sound still only comes out its own built in speakers. The speakers I'm tring to use work for other devices, however, just not my TV. The headphone jack on the TV doesn't work for anything (speakers, earbuds etc). Is the jack broken? (I'm using the TV to play XBOX by the way, if that makes a difference)

Answer:
The jack is broken. Have it fixed by a technician. If there is a sound out by RCA plugs, you might use them instead- you need an adapter that takes RCA left and right audio and outputs it to a stereo headphone (TRS) plug.
