How Do You Get eBooks onto Amazon kindle after downloading them from sites such as free book spot?

I recently got a kindle, and found out there are sites such as free book spot from which you can download ebooks for free. I wondered how you transfer these books to the kindle? I have the latest kindle, without the keypad. Thanks in advance
Answer:

upload the files from your computer to the kindle by using the usb cable provided. You have to copy the files to the document folder. p.s. Make sure the files are in the format readable by kindle.
