Portable barcode scanner?

Help me find this device or a similar one? Portable Barcode Scanner.?

• I always see this guy in Goodwill using this Portable Barcode Scanner. It is the size of his palm, and uses a red lazer scanner like a retail store clerk would use when scanning products. It is not a phone/smart phone. It is not an app. I am familiar with the apps for smart phones and androids that have the capability but that is not what I am looking for. He is using it to scan books and is checking the price online for used books. Probably comparing Amazon prices. The device scans quickly and displays a price. He flips through books within seconds. That's how fast this scans. I always have trouble with my phone app that scans, so I am looking for something similar as I mentioned above. Names and Links would be great. No android apps.
