What kind of software and cords do you need to get audio from a portable digital audio recorder to a computer?

I have a Dell Netbook and I might buy a Tascam DR-05 Compact Portable Digital Recorder and I don't know what kind of computer I need, what special cords I need, what software I need on my computer, and how to get the audio from the compact portable digital audio recorder on to my computer.

It comes with a USB cable - connect the usb cable to it and the other end goes to your computer. No software is needed. The other way to do it is to remove the microSD card and put it into a SD card reader. Very easy either way.
