What technology activity should i falsely add to my resume?

  • I'm applying for a job as a projector operator and the job description says I should have a knack for technology, I don't think this is really necessary but they feel the need to include it, what's an easy technological activity that i can include on my resume.

    Modern projectors are in effect PCs So, if you have experience with PCs, networking, etc, you may want to include it. Don't lie. It is very easy to ask you a question or two and figure out how much you really know.

First of all, NEVER lie about your qualifications on any document or even in conversation. Doing so will come back and haunt you. I used to work at a theater back in the day when 35 and 70 mm prints were shown on large projectors. It was the old Colony Theatre in Toledo, back in the late '70s. Working on and operating projection equipment is a union gig and should not be taken lightly. Experience in computers, electronics and a good mechanical ability is a plus for this kind of job to operate (and repair, if necessary) the precision components involved in the visual and audio systems that make it all happen.
