How to get rid of Touch Launcher in my phone?

Can i still get a phone that is not touch sensitive?

  • my partner has a samsung gt-s5560 which he loves,it is one that you can actually tap the screen,not like the newer ones that are touch sensitive.well, i do like my partners phone but i do not want the same one,can i get a phone along these lines that are proper touch phones,i hate all the new ones that go by the touch of your skin etc

    There are two types of screen resistive - the one you want They need pressure to work... so often have a stylus to create a point of pressure and Capacitive - like the iPhone and 'touch sensitive' These are also the only ones that can do the 2 finger (pinch) detection. They cannot work with a stylus So.. start to look at/choose any phone that does not have the words 'capacitive' and 'pinch' on it, but yes, they are the ones becoming more popular. (thanks to the iPhone having this feature). You can also lookup any phone you are interested in, at the database site here http://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3?sQuickSearch=yes&sName= top right is a search or choose the manufacturer etc from the left and search in that they will list if its screentype is capacitive or resistive / resitance based.

Most phones are definitely heat sensitive, I'm not sure if there are many phones these days that will allow the use of a stylus, i guess you can search for phones even on ebay with a stylus in keywords, any phone that comes with a stylus is bound to be a pressure sensitive phone.

There are still plenty of phones around that use keypads. Your phone shop salesman should show you some.
