Which is better: an ipod touch or a laptop?

Which is better? iPod touch 4th generation vs. laptop?

  • My birthday is coming and I cant decide on a laptop(HP 10.1" Pink) or a iPod touch 4th generation. My fam. is a little tight on money so which one should I choose.

    It depends. They're completely different products. Would you rather something portable on a mobile platform? Then you should get the iPod touch. If you want something to have a vast web browser and creation tools that aren't as mobile, you should get the netbook. For media consumption only, I would get the iPod touch. If you want to be able to use a broader browsing system with creation capabilities, I would get the netbook. That decision comes down to personal preference.

agreed. you can do MUCH MORE with the 10" laptop than you can the ipod touch. the laptop has a much larger hard drive, so you can have alot more music or movies or pictures on it. plus, you can connect to the internet on it anywhere that they have wifi....like mcdonalds. and you can download that song that you just heard in the car on the way to mcdonalds before you forget about it. and its probably just as cheap as the ipod touch..... GO WITH THE LAPTOP!

It depends mostly on what you want to get out of your device. If you want to store more music, play better games, have more storage place, be able to run multiple programs at once and have more performance options go with the laptop. If you want to have a portable gadget that can do most simple processes then I suggest the Ipod Touch.

You do know you need a computer to sync your iPod with, right? It won't set up without one. That leaves one choice: the laptop (although it's really a netbook).
