Definitely get a Garmin they are the best in my opinion with easiness, routing calculations, and most points of interests. If you are looking for the best entry level(basic) GPS unit get a Garmin Nuvi 205. The Nuvi models that end in '5' are the newest models of the series. They are faster processor which calculates routes and draws the maps faster, the interface is easier to navigate, and one of my favorite features is not only does it display how fast you are driving but also the speed limit on the road you are driving on.(This saved me a few times on the highway when the speed drops from 70mph to 55 without me noticing.)
