Who do we call for help? I switch to a DTV converter box 2 months ago with no problems.?

The Converter will convert the incoming Digital signal (after June 12, 2009) into an Analog one (as they are presently being transmitted). Presently and up to June 12, 2009, TV Stations are transmitting Analog signals. We are receiving those signals with an antenna. The converter will not be converting the present Analog signals A different device is an RF Modulator. If you take the Video Out from a DirecTV box, apply it to an RF Modulator, then connect the converter's output to your analog TV, then you would be converting the satellite Digital signal. I wonder how you are testing your converter box. How is it connected?

Channel 13 doesn't work in New York Either! Something funny going on here! I even went on E-Bay and bought a DTV Antenna, with amplifier and rotator. It worked well for about a week, then I lost Channel 13 again! I got a bunch of other channels, 4 Korean Stations, the local college station, 3 more shopping channels,and some digital radio stations too. All in all, despite what they tell you on DTV dot com, you will need a new antenna, preferably a rooftop antenna with a rotator if you want to get the full effect. There is a second site you have to go to, Antenna web dot com and they will show you where the signals are coming from and which antenna and color code you will need. Remember that some of these stations will convert there broadcast signal from VHF to UHF!

You get a better antenna. If you have to call somebody, you call an antenna installer.
