How can i record VHS tapes from my DVD player?

  • I got a JVC VCR/DVD combo and i m trying to record some movies. I only have dvds and want to make them into VHS since my grandma only has a VCR.

  • Answer:

Hi, If you record a DVD that comes from the shop the recording quality is affected. Like the colour goes strange the picture goes weird. The manufactures do something to the DVD to prevent pirate copy's. The best thing to do is buy your Grandma a DVD player. They are really cheap now. Where I live you can buy them in Cole's supermarket for $49.00. From Aus down under

see if the unit has inputs and outputs for the dvd and the vcr. if so, to turn a dvd into vhs, you need to connect the dvd output to the vcr input. if this doesnt work, it will definitely work with seperate dvd and vcr units.
