How do I get the water out of my phone?

  • A bottle of water opened in my purse and got all over my phone. I was wondering how to fix it.

    yep i agree with little peanut u gotta take the battery out and put it in rice.. rice will absorb the water.. but a whole water bottle...idk ur fone might be dead...it depends on what kind it is.. my first cell fone (got wen i was 10) was a standard flip fone from sprint.. (LG) and i got into a HUGGEE water fight and forgot that my fone was in my pocket ..and i mean my fone got DRENCHED with at least 10 gallons of water..(the fight lasted like 45 mins) and wen i took my fone outta my pocket, the fone still worked! i just had to dry it off! ..amazing right? theres hope!

Take out the battery asap then put the battery and phone into a bowl of rice for the rest of the day.

Take the back off and the battery out, dry it with a hairdryer on it's lowest setting turning it off every ten seconds. Leave it to thoroughly dry out. It works.
